The Human Resources Department provides quality employment services for County Offices and Departments in order to effectively and efficiently recruit, select, retain, develop and manage a highly skilled, productive and diverse workforce.

Services

 

Human Resources provides information and resources to the County’s management in areas of recruitment and employee relations. The department is relied upon by the Board of County Commissioners as expected in the fields of employment benefits, compensation, policies and procedures, as well as coordinating job related training programs for staff.

Current job opportunities with the County are posted on the main bulletin board of the Courthouse, located on the second floor main lobby, the Human Resources bulletin board, located just outside of the office, on the bulletin board in the law and justice center and on the County’s webpage.
 

Grant County’s Equal Employment Opportunity Plan 9.3MB 2012/06/20 is maintained by and can be obtained from the Human Resources department.

 

Staff

 

The Human Resources department consists of one full-time employee; the Human Resources Director. Human Resources works directly for the Board of County Commissioners to maintain open lines of communication with all elected officials, department heads and employees. Contact with Human Resources is welcome and encouraged.
 

Location

 

The Human Resources department is located on the first floor of the main courthouse. The space under the office door can be used in instances when Human Resources is not immediately available.

Grant County has openings for Volunteers and Interns in various departments.  If you are interested
