Sheriff Frank DeTrolio welcomes you to the Grant County Sheriff’s Office webpage.

The Sheriff is the chief executive officer and conservator of the peace of the county. As such, the many duties of the Sheriff can be found and defined in Chapter 36.28 of the Revised Code of Washington. Citizens of, and visitors to, Grant County are encouraged to contact the Sheriff's Office with any concerns or suggestions on how the Sheriff can improve services, or, simply to say "Hi".

  • The Sheriff's Office currently has 5 Patrol Sergeants, 5 Patrol Corporals, 25 Patrol Deputy's, 2 Marine Deputy's, 2 ORV Deputy's and 1 Animal Control Officer
Major Crimes Unit
  • The Sheriff's Office currently has 3 Detectives assigned to the Major Crimes Unit
Corrections
  • The Corrections Division and Work Release Center are currently staffed by 2 Lieutenants, 5 Sergeants, 1 Administrative Sergeant, 4 Corporals, 25 Corrections Officers, 4 Control Room Operators, 3 Support Specialists, 1 Financial Specialist, 1 Head Cook, 3 Cooks and 1 part time Cook.
Support
  • The Sheriff's Office Support team consists of 1 Records Sergeant, 7 Records Specialists, 1 Civil Specialist, 1 Evidence Specialist, 1 Financial Specialist, 1 Scanning Specialist and 1 Administrative Specialist.
INET
  • The Inter-Agency Narcotics Enforcement Team is staffed with 1 Sergeant, 1 Support Specialist and 6 Detectives, five that come to us from other Law Enforcement agencies in and around Grant County.

EPHRATA OFFICE - Concealed Pistol Licenses and fingerprinting (you must provide the fingerprint card(s)) are done between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm Monday through Friday.

 

MOSES LAKE OFFICE - Concealed Pistol Licenses and fingerprinting (you must provide the fingerprint card(s)) are done between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm MONDAY'S ONLY.
